Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Who we are

WaxLogic is operated by Wyandot Candle Company LLC. We're the data controller for the personal information described in this notice — the party responsible for how it's collected and used. If you have questions about your data, contact us through the app or via Paddle support.

2. What we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password.
  • Business data: the records you and your teammates add — products, recipes, materials, customers, orders, invoices, notes and similar.
  • Billing information: handled by our reseller Paddle.com; we see your subscription status but not your card details.
  • Usage and device data: sign-in records such as last sign-in time and IP address, used to secure accounts.

3. How we use it, and on what basis

  • To create your account and provide the service — performed under our contract with you.
  • To secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse — in our legitimate interests.
  • To support you and answer questions — performed under our contract with you.
  • To send service messages (trial reminders, billing notices) — performed under our contract with you.
  • To comply with law — a legal obligation.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your business data to advertise to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host the application and its database, and help us run the service. They process data only on our instructions.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of subscriptions, payments, taxes and invoicing. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed, under confidentiality.
  • Authorities where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your workspace stays readable but no new activity is added; if your account later becomes fully inactive we delete or anonymise data that we no longer need. If you ask us to remove your data entirely, we'll do so, subject to records we must keep by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, get a portable copy, and withdraw consent where we relied on it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us through the app and we'll respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information — encrypted connections, authentication controls, and access limited to the service's needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

8. Cookies

WaxLogic uses only essential cookies and browser storage — the minimum needed to keep you signed in and remember settings like your theme. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't load third-party analytics scripts.
